I only got the catch Sundays stream of EVO but where was the #1 Gouken player in the US? The only Gouken I saw was when Burnyourbra pulled him out in the Women's Invitational out of desperation. |

I get so hype watching those streams it makes me want to play all day, but then I realize that there isn't really a scene for it where I live and playing online isn't the same as being able to play face to face.
I also haven't played since the week after super came out because I broke one of the switches in my stick somehow. Time to get it fixed and start working on my Adon.
The entire Top 8 was surprising, with the exception of Daigo. Two Hondas, a Gief, and an Adon? And sadly the grand finals were torture with Adam Sessler "commentating." |

Totally agree I actually love watching any form of competitive gaming and think it should be broadcast more, but you'd think from a journalistic standpoint, he could have done a little research on the competition before jumping in front of a mic and struggling to commentate on something he probably has never seen before.
And the MvC2 money match seemed pretty intense, but when you have Hevad Khan backing you it probably could have been even higher. Just wait for John to start making millions playing poker ( ) and he can back you in money matches.
But back to training mode for me, still need to pick a new main to mess around with, because I might have actually found someplace to play around here so I might pick up my stick and start playing again. |

last year, arturo sanchez (sabin), the best dhalsim in the u.s., beat daigo umehara, the best player in the world, in a first to 5 money match.
it was one of the best matches i have ever seen.
this year they ran it back for $500 after hours during evolution 2010.
this match was even better.
i couldn't believe it.
