Battlefield 3 Server

It would be awesome to have a Scalebane Battlefield 3 server, who would be interested in pitching in for the monthly fee?

Ideally we'd like to get a 24-32 person (12vs12 or 16vs16) server.

Cost is dependent on how many are interested and how many slots we'd want on the server. When I last looked not a lot of the companies were publishing rates for BF3.

We'd pretty much pick a server size (Ideally at least 24 slot, maybe 32), and then split the cost.

I run BF on my PS3 so unless I get the pc version also I don't think I can do this. It does sound pretty cool though.

I ran a Battlefield server some years ago. It was a lot of fun and nice to be able to get assholes off it fast. Smile

I'd be in for helping with server costs for a month. After that, I'll probably have moved on to another game.

UPDATE!

I pre-ordered our server. It's going to be a 40 player server. My goal was ~$40 a month, Durk and I think that a 40 player server will help us stand out a little bit more, as there are likely to be a ton of 32 player servers.

Unfortunately, the provider I picked http://www.multiplaygameservers.com/ doesn't have clanpay. Instead will use a paypal accout, I'll setup a donate button.

To keep things simple, I suggest anyone wanting to pitch in donate $10. You're certainly welcome to donate more or less, but I think this makes more sense then trying to evenly split things as the number of donators is likely to change from month to month.

We'll see how long that gets us, and when we start to get low I'll post here again asking for donations, if we don't get enough, I'll post a warning that we'll likely cancel the server.

I'll try to have a button up in the next few days.

I feel like an asshole now for not playing fps on my pc but w/e, is there anyone else who hangs out on the PSN? My 360 is broke so I won't be on LIVE for awhile but in case you are on your playstation my tag is evilwilkie.

Idk how good he is at BF3 but I know he was one of the top rated in BF2.
