This is the reason I want to go to EVO so badly this year. Japan has thrown down a gauntlet and we have 3 months to get our skills up

july 17-20 is when Scott and myself will go, plane tickets are $233 from austin to vegas, hotel is roughly $200 split X ways.

Daigo is confirmed because he won the international tournament this past weekend. That sealed it for us, we are 100% going. It would be awesome if you could join us.

p.s. last I checked expedia, tickets from austin to vegas are cheaper then houston to vegas.

from what I understand, throws are easy to escape, and place you at a disadvantage frame recovery wise. At high level tekken play, getting the "just frame" EWGF and throw escapes fall in the same category, its about 1 second grace period and all the pros can do it/escape from it. That and I dont think they have high priority like SF, there is no stun meter in tekken, might as well do poke strings/insane juggles.

I think the main reason is you cannot kara throw in tekken. that removes tons of mind games.

Fubarduck is one of the dudes who owns Arcade UFO. He has a chun li I dont get bored watching.
