Yeah there was a lot of buzz about this a few months ago when it was announced at E3. I believe that video isn't using the actual technology but a dramatization of what they THINK it will be able to do.
If there is anything the Wii taught me, it's hard to beat a controller/keyboard and mouse beyond novelty factor. Especially if that alternate control scheme is inaccurate.
Hopefully they get it working as well as advertised, and we get more than a few token titles for it. Even so I don't think the controller is going anyway. Sometimes when you want to game, physical exertion is the last thing you're in the mood for.

The did another demo on a late night talk show, think it was Jimmy Fallon? to demonstrate Project Natal. You can see it on the Xbox, but a few people tested it.. John Kraszinski was one I believe, and they showed it working with like GTA IV or something like that, they were driving.
