i just found out that sf4 at evo 2010 is going to be held on ps3's.
i looked around for a converter or a reproduction of the xbox 360 controller on the ps3 but found nothing acceptable.
does anyone here know of a third party controller that replicates the xbox controller or of a converter that doesnt drop inputs? |

It seems to be well-liked from what I can find. One person claims to play SF4 on it, but I can't find much else for that game in particular.
The real problem is the price tag. It is not cheap, especially for your purpose.
Oh, another problem is it only works with the wired version of the controller. Not sure of your set up, so that is a potential issue. |

i did some research on the xcm converter on shoryuken.com and people say it drops inputs.
if you do anything really quickly, you are likely to lose a button press or a directional input, which basically kills it for street fighter.
i have been sending messages to various players within the street fighter community and everyone says the same thing "man, that would be great if you could find something."
WTF
i found one dude's site who takes ps3 guts and stuffs them into an xbox controller case.
he charges $400 for one of his controllers.

hehe, he is selling one controller, a joystick, for $400.
some ps3 users just really prefer the xbox controller i suppose.
i can wear out a controller in a few months, so that would be an especially bad investment for me. |
