Humanity's understanding of the world doesn't explain everything 100% yet, so obviously we were created by the giant flying spaghetti monster!

i prefer it when those with faith argue from the point of faith.
when they argue from the point of science, they make themselves look like idiots.
this guy wants his argument to appear scientific, which is fucking ludicrous.
guys that want to prove the existence of god have no faith at all and should be ashamed of themselves for being double agents.

I'm deep in shallow waters. This is how it plays out for me.

I think its personal. Our life experiences are very different in terms of how we view reality and life and death. I know people that have faith of a child like the bible states. They just know things to be true in their life, in their hearts and don't need any "evidence" other than what they know to be true through experience.

I was different though. Science helped me see how awesome our creation is and solidified my view of the inner workings of the body and how it functions from the cellular level to the body as a whole. All the other "ologies" led to study of the earth and the universe as we know it.

For me, I look at all of this and see structure, reason, intelligence. An intelligent design. I believe an intelligent design has an intelligent designer. So in my case, science led me down the path to my belief, in other words, my faith. The irony of it all is that one could sit with me through the same courses that I took and come to an entirely different conclusion. In the end, its personal. And my belief is of a personal God. And that is another subject.

Is the thick finger of authority related to the long arm of the law?
