Finally found a castle in the nether. I crafted a potion station and put it in the red dome in my castle, if anyone wants to make potions. Smile

1.1 is out!

I've been getting on the server with 1.0 binaries, so my four year old can watch me play (he begs me every day to play, when I get home from work).

There's a new blog post on the massive changes coming (double-high world and 4096 block limit instead of 256). I'm kinda disappointed that the world won't be at least 1024 high, but I understand the memory constraints.

I have been experimenting with some voxelization software and have learned how to create minecraft plans from nearly any 3d model (to include any building modeled in Google Earth). I'm looking forward to falling to my death from quite a few 1:1 scale models of real structures.

Server outdated?
This recent? or something up on my end

The server seems to be running version 1.0 while the most recent version of the game is 1.1. To continue playing I have avoided letting minecraft upgrade from 1.0 to 1.1. Due to our use of a few mods that may take a little while to update after minecraft is upgraded, the server is always a little slow to make a corresponding upgrade.

If you would like to hop on and you accidentially upgraded your copy, I would be happy to drop a zip file of the 1.0 files somewhere on the internets for you.

Awesome! I like this far more than the eventuality of Mojang putting out their own system which would compete with (and likely eclipse) Bukkit. Not to mention those Bukkit guys deserve something for all their hard work, other than the abuse of the impatient.

hey, I am on a trip at the moment, and I cannot access/ping/polling the server nor the map... can anyone tell me if the server is down, or is it just my connection?
