I have seen it and it does look pretty but I'd wait for some reviews before investing in it. I'm personally going to probably be playing guild wars 2 once thats out Wink

i didnt like the first one much so i am more likely to get tera. and i have been reading some about the game from ppl who played the beta.

I've been hearing only good things about it too, but it is an MMO and as such, has the same MMO issues many games suffer from.

The combat is very well done at least, and you can kill monsters ten levels above you if you play well simply because it's skill-timing focused instead of numbers vs numbers. The boss fights are nothing short of epic, adopting a Monster Hunter kind of style. Your melee attacks, projectiles and spells actually have to make contact to be of any use, and the same is true for bosses' abilities.
It does have the trinity of tank healer DPS as far as I know.

I think I recall something about western localization removing some of the grindfest feel, so it doesn't release here seeming like Asian MMO #402 with slightly newer graphics. (Aion, I'm lookin' at you.)
Not positive on this though.

It looks funner to me than the vast majority of MMOs that have come out in the past 5 years.
Even so, I'd still only play it for a few months at most.

you are right riin, it does have a monster hunter feel, and yes attacks spells even heals if i remember right have to hit. Tanking is a challenge seeing how lancers are ur MT Slayers can also tank but they rely more on player skill and dodge since they can't wear the same armor.

But i remember reading about them adding about 1900 quest (don't quote me on that seeing how i am reading about 8 other games).

But all in all it looks really fun and i can't wait till tonight For open beta Smile

There's plenty of people streaming this on twitch (along with MoP beta), supposedly the most graphically advanced MMO out right now, not so sure about game play as I find watching MMOs the same as watching golf.

Ya its a beautiful game. only 1 zone in i've been in that i really didnt care for. luckily though that was a little part of it.

You should i enjoy this game on a PvE server atm. lvling would be close to impossible on a PvP server i would think.
