Yes, another mmo
Guild wars 2 is real good
basically key differences from guild wars 1 include:
every character is a pvp character (you get max level when you do PvP, access to all skills etc for free, only in structured pvp)
can join multiple guilds (can put whichever clan tag you want next to your name)
WvWvW is a lot more interesting (in my opinion, though hero's whatever was pretty boss) - siege castles, intercept supply caravans, murderdess
elementalist sucks unless you're doing PvE or WvWvW (too squishy)
no healer, everybody has healing skills
no GvG skirmishes  (only tournaments, not in beta)
whatever if you want to know more you can look it up
basically i preordered and played the beta weekend this last weekend. i had a shit load of fun. pvp is immense. only downfall to the beta is that you can't group with your party to do the structured pvp (up to 10v10), because the only way to do that is to "rent a server" (basically get a dedicated pvp instance that you can password protect and set up rules) or tournaments, both of which aren't available in the beta
if anybody ends up wanting to play this game, post here and we should play on the same server. no idea which server.
ps like its predecessor it is only gonig to be a one time charge to play. no monthly fee. only have to buy expansions when they come out, if you want to (don't know if they'll do like the last one where they have 3 stand alone campaigns and one expansion)

That's only relevant as far as WvW goes though, we can even all be in the same guild if we want, and "guest" on each other's servers, to do dungeons or sPvP(i think) |
