Something besides raiding???

I seen a few guilds do events in the past that allowed everyone to take part. Most of them had mounts and/or gold if you won.

Such as treasure hunts, old raid races, pvp events, lore stuff / riddles, in small teams and on a individual level.

I had a lot of fun with them in the past and would like to do some of them.

However I need to know if anyone would even show up for this kind of stuff and what kind of things you should get if you win.

This still just a idea I'm throwing around.

Last year I spent a ton of money on the easter eggs that had gold in them (one containing 1k, i think?) and hid them everywhere one raid during break.

That was pretty fun :D
