would be the main reason i would ever buy a Wii. Metroid Prime is ftw.

Think we might pick up one of the new 360s this christmas, the ones with the new HDMI ports. Although might wait to see when the ones with the cooler running 65nm chips come out. Guy I work with is on his 4th 360. Microsoft has been replacing them for free, but man that has got to be irritating.

Truth.

Mine might possibly last forever as I never play it, or did I ever really. I know Nucca's had the Red Ring of Death and my friend in Vega's has issues with his freezing on him quite often. Luckily, I've never had those issues. My box is currently taken apart (but still playable) and it's quite apparent that there is a lack of circulation inside the frame for cooling. I'm going to mod the case slightly in an attempt to improve this as my warranty has been expired for almost 8 months now. I was very unhappy with the release of the Elite since I would have bought that one when it was released. I was always thinking they would just make a HDMI cord to use in the AV plug... I was wrong.

I'm happy with the system over all. I blame my lack of use to not enough games at release and WoW brainwashing.

I've had two 360s.

The first one I brought home, plugged in, and immediately got the three red LED lights.

GG.

A tech help guy for the company was very impressive. He didn't pull any bullshit, and after a few simple checks, he sent a box out to replace the system at no cost.

Mine busted a month ago (red ring of death). Called them up and they trouble shooted it. It was clear there was hardware failure so they registered my box and extended the warranty to 3 years. They send you a prepaid postage package to put your box in. Take out your hard drive and any games and send it in, and 3 weeks later I had a working model at no cost.

MS stands behind the 360, no doubt.

I have been playing Metroid Prime Corrupted, I love it!

Its more than a shooter. Here is a good review to watch with *necessary* spoilers.

* If your a noob like me, you get stuck in games for hours!!! The spoiler can save you frustration and get the most out of the game imo.
