Anytime you're proofreading something (or counting letters, commas, etc) the trick is to read from the bottom up! When reading forwards, the brain skips a lot of "unimportant" things, such as the, an, a , of, etc. When reading backwards the brain has to work harder and you have to consiously (sp?) read every work instead of the brain skipping things in easy mode. |
