This game is a highly competitive free-to-play. They have a great business model if you don't have enough time to farm hero purchases, however money won't really give a player unfair advantage.
Every week you get a random assortment of heroes that are available to everyone so you aren't stuck trying to buy one sight-unseen and you can get a general feel for the plethora of different hero types and roles.
There are 78 in total, each is fairly unique. And new heroes are added regularly.
You can practice versus bots, or against real players. Each match awards you some exp, and IP (the game's currency). Each level you gain a talent point to augment your abilities by a small amount in one of the three talent trees, a rune slot which you can further customize your character with, and every few levels you unlock an ability you can pick two from to use in conjunction with whatever other ones your hero has naturally.
Everything earned this way is applied to any hero you decide to play on any match.
This game can be unforgiving if you're jumping right into PvP, practice matches versus bots to learn a hero are generally a good idea. The combat can be very intense and fast paced, and although each hero only has 4 abilities, requires a fair level of skill at mid-high end play.
I give it a 5/5 personally, because as a free game it is one of the most solid competitive PvP games I've ever played. The ability balance, build knowledge, and teamwork required to succeed make it entertaining longer term, especially with friends, and the emotional high of a close win is as thrilling as anything else I've played. |

Used to be fun most definitely, I've long since quit playing as they release way too many champions for my OCD to keep up and I just can't devote that kind of time/money to unlocking them all... |

Malz is my favorite ATM, still learning with him tho. i also enjoy using Vayne, Noc, Swain. TBH i havent really mastered any of them yet but i enjoy malz an take the op to pick him everytime i can. Most of the time you solo que tho u get auto-lock scrubs and are forced to play some toon ya dont want.
Oh Tullen here is proof that all andi does is run around and scream for back-up while we carry him.
