This was my first MMO. Of course these are free servers. The only problem I ever had with the game was that lvling was a bitch....it was more like work then a job. It would take a year or more to get to lvl 54. However, since these are free servers they have set the lvling time to x35, basically its more in line with wow lvling. I highly recommend these FREE severs (dont pay for the game) if u wanna kill time till expansion.

I have an old account with these peeps, but I cant remember which of their 4 servers my old toon is on. I am in the process of re dling the game which will be bout another 20 hours Sad

It has beautiful graphic, awesome pvp (if thats what u like), and well if u like MMORPG fanasty type games, youll really dig this.

MAKE SURE U FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE FREE SERVERS SITE. THE OFFICAL SITE IS JUST SO U CAN GET AN IDEA OF THE GAME. IF U USE THE DEVELOPERS PATCHER U ARE SCREWED U HAVE TO USE THE LINEAGE2XTREME.

Also, there are many different free servers out there, however, this one is the largest. They even sell money and have 4 different servers to choose from.

Check it out i promise youll like it. Besides the worst that can happen is that u have just spent a few hours downloading cus it free!!!

I use to play L2, its an awesome game with so much potential but it really is a treadmill Razz

I played l2 till about 47. Just got tired of the pointless grinding:( the pvp was fun though..

yeah thats the point of the free server, they took out the grind by speeding up the lvling and even put in other stuff such as GM stores so the economy isnt screwed up, and also made other tweaks to basically fix any issues peeps in the offical game complained bout. Basically they hacked it to fix all the flaws that brought it down. Even still, L2 made alot of improvements in there expansions to help improve it too.

heh, fixed all the flaws in L2? They took all the 24/7 farmers out back and shot em?

its a free server, not the nc soft one, therefore, its a hacked game and no farmers.

Im on Kestien server (I think thats the spelling), name is babbs of course. Its a 35x xp server, 2 of them are only 7x xp. There are dragon mounts that fly Smile

Lots of different classes. U can only choose from male or female of 5 different classes. dark elf, light elf, human, dwarf and orc. However, each of those start off as only 2 classes and have a couple of different class breaks at different lvls (hero classes)

Wooo I finally stopped procastinating and tried it out. Took 2 hours to download it o.O

It waspretty sweet once I finally got it working, only played for a hour though, is there anyway to hotkey spells?

Some people are saying that's a hoax. Others believe it's legit. Hoax or not, this marks the end of Lineage II private servers. Both other major private servers shut down when they heard the news of L2x.
