Scalebane Addon Packs Updated
Posted by cyria on Monday, May 22 @ 01:16:12 UTC
Addons The Scalebane main, rogue, and raid addon packs have all been updated. If you raid with us please download and install the newest raid pack before the next Molten Core raid on friday. Click Read More below for additional information on the updates.

The raid addon pack received updates to nearly every addon in the pack, and now includes the Catalyst zoning optimization addon to assist with the frequent heavy lag in Blackwing Lair. Please remember that only the Nurfed_DKP and RaidAttendance addons are optional (used mainly by raid leaders), and if you are found to lack the remaining required addons during a raid you may be asked to relog or leave to obtain them.

The rogue addon pack was tweaked a bit, as well as received several updates. As noted on the download page, the latest version of the AutoRogue addon contains the same code as Catalyst for optimizing zoning times, and as such they should not be used together. Also included in the latest version is an addon called PoisonMaster which speeds up the process of buying poison ingredients from the shady vendors. Simply open your poisons window, open the vendor window, and set how many you wish to make (or what is the maximum you want to top off your supply to) in the PoisonMaster window. Click buy and the addon will do all the work. Scrolling Combat Text with a scrolling damage plugin is also included now. This helps greatly in seeing your damage while killing very large mobs such as those in Molten Core. It is also worth noting that by default, the latest version of Drathel's HUD uses one of its bars as a cast bar, so if you wish to return to the old cast bar, you must modify the options.

The main addon pack has far too many changes to list, however I will point out some notable additions.

--The dressing window in both the normal popup and auction house should now have undess buttons, as well as a "target" button in the normal one which will let you dress up a targeted player rather than yourself. You can also now rotate, reposition, and zoom in on the character models in the dressing window like you can in the SuperInspect modified inspect window.

--Items with a bid already made at the auction house should now say so next to the auction's name.

--An advanced tradeskill window is now in place instead of Fizzwidget's AutoCraft. This new window has far more options available to it, and takes into account the 1.10.1 change of having to push a button between queues to continue crafting by displaying a large popup when a button press is required to procede.

--Many Atlas maps are now much higher quality, and most bosses can now be clicked on to toggle showing the loot that they drop.

--A gathering tool to assist in collecting items found in Felwood has been added. This tool should not take effect anywhere else but in this zone, and displays spawn locations and respawn timers on the world map like Gatherer does for tradeskill nodes.

--A world map note system is available, and one note can be activated at a time to show its location on the minimap.

--The QuestItem addon has been updated and returned to the compilation. Any time a quest item is collected, it will display the quest it is required for in its tooltip to help in deciding whether to keep or trash a particular item.

--For raid leader use the UntitledRaid (invites) addon, raidTemplate (group setup) addon, RaidTargetManagement (tank bar assist assignment) addon, and ZGLoot (Zul'Gurub coin/bijou/hakkari spam) addon have been added.

--An addon to sort the enchant tradeskill window has been added.

--There is a new talent frame which displays all 3 trees at once, and can be used to both plan out and assign talent points.

--SpellAlert and a Scrolling Combat Text plugin version of it are now included.

--A small box will now appear with the tooltip when looking at crafting items telling which professions on which character can make use of the item. You must open all your tradeskill windows on each character to populate the addon with data before that tradeskill/character will appear.
