Both games got high metacritic scores... SSF4 got a 93 and RDD got a 94 for the PS3. Looks like this summer is going to be a good one for games... Smile

Red Dead Redemption looks too sweet to pass up for me. I'm going to get it today.

Gameplay:

Red Dead Redemption looks cool. Few guys from work are picking it up. Think I'll go XBox 360 for this one.

I just hope that you don't constantly get telegraphs from your friend a few towns over asking for you to drop everything you're doing to go to the saloon with him every few minutes.

I played it for a few hours last night. The character and horse animations are the best I've seen in any video game yet. The storyline keeps you going and the myriad amount of things to do break up the monotony.

I have wanted to play a western game like this since my first adventure game. Smile

You know, now that I think about it...it's about time a Western Open World game came along.

You'd think the western genre would be perfect for open world gameplay. Then again, the technology might've not been available till now.

I played it last night and had the same thought; it really is about time. Rockstar's execution is excellent. I'm not big on any kind of first person shooter on the console so I was a little concerned how this one would feel, but after playing it for an hour I'm quite impressed.
