This is a trailer for an upcoming game by the creator of the Ace Attorney series. I had heard about the premise a couple of E3s back, and had almost forgotten about it, but it's finally coming out this winter, and holy shit does it look cool. Kind of hoping for a soundtrack too if it's anything like the trailer music.

The button on the lower left corner of the screen is the "Possess" button, that you use to enter the spirit world and move from object to object, and the button on the lower right is the "Trick" button that you use to make the object do something in the environment. To move into an object you drag from your current (bright) spirit location to one of the spirit spots on another close by object. You may have to manipulate the environment to reach an object that's too far out of reach at first to stretch your spirit to. That should be enough for anyone to fumble through the demo, even if you can't read the text. The game play is still pretty cool. |

Just today this finally got localized for iOS (iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad) devices. If you don't have a Nintendo DS or you didn't want to take a chance paying $30, the iOS version is a free download that lets you play the first two chapters so you can check out the game. If you like it, the rest of the game is only $10 to unlock. And it's well worth the price.
Give it a shot if you've got something that can install it.
