If you kill someone crucial to a non-main quest (which you CAN do). You can resurrect them with the console provided you have the PC version. Or you can just live with the consequences of your homicidal maniac lifestyle.

I posit that it is in fact the villagers who are insane for trying to murder me over the death of a chicken.

Hey you fuck, they need that chicken to survive Skyrim's harsh winters. When you killed that chicken, you sentenced them to a long slow starvation.

Ugh. I've played this game so much and it's driving me nuts. The frame rate issue hits me one out of five zone changes.

However, I'm almost level 30 and many of my skills are approaching 70. It's starting to get pretty easy, since my heavy armor is almost 300. I'm immune to poison and disease, have a sword that causes undead to explode and flee in terror, and have so many heal potions (need a cooldown on those) that I'm nigh unkillable.

I guess I should do the main storyline someday. Smile

Also, what the fuck were they thinking when they made this pathetic interface?

Well I broke down and bought it on steam, the download will probably take a week at this rate. Any advice for someone who hasnt ruined the game by killing chickens?

Well the only chickens I found weren't worth killing. Giants, on the other hand, have been at the top of my list all day. Im not sure they are worth the arrows (or time) it takes to kill them but I am having a blast with this game.

Cyria, for the bow, try sheathing it. Works for spells.

I have allowed this game to consume me since release, and don't feel bad about it even slightly. Take that as you will.

Thank you! I actually found out about it two days ago watching the YogsCast playthrough videos, but it's good to know it works for spells as well. I'm assuming they cause similar noise while sneaking from hitting the ground?
