Dominion gets my official seal of approval.
What Hannuk said about its pacing was very true; the game is extremely fast-paced.
While it is in its most basic form Arathi Basin all over again, there are a few things which make it 10 times more fun.
For starters, each of the 5 points also has a turret for the side that currently owns it, so a single champion can fend off a node from a 2-3 person assault if they play well. Not only that, but your choice of build can make you a specialist at whatever task you want to perform for your team. I found that I leaned towards much less traditional builds than I would have in a normal match.
Anyone can tank and defend. Anyone can push or ninja nodes (runspeed is golden). Support are incredibly viable, even post-nerf.
The game is balanced such that dying isn't feeding your enemy gold at a much quicker rate than they would normally gain, so each team is on a fairly even playing field throughout, and never able to completely shut out the other team. This makes it so late-game turnarounds are a lot more common, and worth fighting for to the end. I had a game where we went 400 to 40 (their lead) and then turned it around to end up winning the match after such a huge point disadvantage.
You can gain a bit of leverage based on the rock-paper-scissors nature of some champions, but overall it felt quite good.
There are a few champions which are considered more powerful, mostly those with global abilities (such as Pantheon, Lux, Gangplank, Ashe etc), because you can tap people off nodes from a mile away or stall for allies. I did fight a full-global team just recently, but we ended up winning anyway so I wouldn't say that benefit is enough to tip the scales unless it was a professional matchup or something.
You can only queue for Dominion as PvP. There's no training ground. So it does require at least a bit of familiarity with your champion, especially when thrown into such a fast-paced environment. However, the impact a good player can have through ninja capping, solo-defending a node for 20 seconds during a 4 champion onslaught, or zoning/ccing for your team to get caps makes it a -very- enjoyable experience.
Even in games I've lost, I had fun the entire time.
That is all! Hope to see you guys playing too. :D

Should prolly play more often then........ asshole
Perhaps youcan carry my complaint to the next level:
Malzahar is overpowered, please nerf Irelia
Actually, the first time I spoke with Morello in person, he ranted about Irelia for a good 5-10 minutes to me. Perhaps she will be nerfed more!
